Vitamin Therapy FAQs

  • Our services are available to clients between the ages of 18 and 75. However, depending on their medical history, we may need to request their PCP to fill out a medical clearance form to ensure their safety during our services. In rare cases, we may have to decline service if the client requires additional diagnostic testing or monitoring.

  • Yes. The protocols are designed so that anyone with a normal heart, liver and kidney function can take it safely without bloodwork.

  • We do not accept insurance.

  • When taken orally, only about 15-40% of the nutrients are absorbed into the bloodstream, whereas IV/IM vitamins are 100% bioavailable.

  • A booster is a type of injection that involves administering a small dosage of nutrients directly into a muscle. On the other hand, an IV drip involves adding multiple vitamins and minerals at higher dosages into a hydration bag and then infusing it into a vein through an IV catheter. It's worth noting that the onset of action with drips is quicker.

  • Receiving one liter of intravenous (IV) hydration is equivalent to consuming 2.5 gallons of water.

  • The effects of nutrient IV drips can vary depending on their nutrient deficiencies, biochemical balance, and the specific protocol they receive. However, most people experience improved wellness, energy, and mental clarity within 1-2 days after the drip. The benefits of the drip are usually short-lived, lasting only a few days. Some individuals may not notice any effects or may occasionally feel worse. This is often attributed to the Herxheimer reaction (the "die-off reaction") from Glutathione and Vitamin C, where one may feel worse before feeling better.

  • The longevity of nutrients in your body depends on various factors such as the type of nutrient, your diet, exercise routine, quality of sleep, and levels of emotional and physical stress. For example, if you follow a healthy and balanced diet that avoids foods that cause inflammation, exercise regularly, get sufficient sleep, and have low levels of stress, your vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants would most likely remain in your body for a longer period of time. On the other hand, if you consume foods with high levels of pesticides or alcohol that cause oxidative stress, your nutrients could be eliminated from your body faster.

Botox FAQs

  • Botox, short for Botulinum toxin, is a type of neuromodulator approved by FDA to aid in treating a variety of conditions including treatment of fine lines and wrinkles. There are 5 different types of neuromodulators available on the market at the moment. At Drip Alchemy NYC we use Botox and Xeomin to reduce fine lines and prevent the formation of deep static lines.

  • Lines and wrinkles form overtime in skin from repeated facial contractions. Botox reduces these lines by blocking chemical signals telling these facial muscles to contract, instead providing relaxation for muscles and resulting in fewer wrinkles.

  • Injection time varies depending on how many areas are being treated and the amount of neuromodulator used. But in general treatment takes about 30min including consultation and treatment. There is little to no down time, allowing you to return to your normal daily routine upon leaving our office.

  • Treatments are customized to your specific needs and problem areas. Our practitioners will help you determine the right amount of injection to use for your desired results. Typically, a crow’s feet area will take three injections while frown and forehead lines usually receive at least five injections. Injections vary in unit doses.

  • On average, initial results begin to be visible about forty-eight hours after injection with full results visible in about 2 weeks.

  • The results usually last about 2-4 months on average.

  • Bruising at the injection site is the most common side effect, but will dissipate.

  • Botox smoothes lines and wrinkles by acting on facial muscles themselves, whereas fillers are used to replace lost volume, reducing the appearance of of deep folds or wrinkles.
